meet sunny

Sunny came from a long life of hoarding. He was housed with another macaw who beat him up constantly and Sunny continued the beating on himself. He chewed his flight feathers off on both sides of his wings and started in on his chest. Over 20 years of harmful coping mechanisms can't be reversed quickly so Sunny was a long term project for us.
